Upper Nyack Elementary staff member, mother of two, and longtime Rockland County resident Camille Brickman took a nasty fall at work Monday, December 19th, 2017. She suffered a broken hip and femur and underwent a six-hour surgery to have them repaired. Following surgery, she was in lots of pain, but good spirits considering what she has been through. Her siblings and boyfriend patiently waited during surgery while her daughters, Jessica & Brianna, kept in touch via phone calls and text. The staff at UNES has been amazing and is very supportive. Camille's sister, Gloria, believes in the power of prayer and asks everyone to pray for her sweet sibling. She knows it will take a village of support get Camille through the weeks and months ahead. The journey of recovery will not be an easy one, but if anyone can do it, Camille can.

From day one, Camille has been a dedicated supporter of Ride to Give, and we were asked by her loving family and friends to host a fundraiser to help cover out of pocket medical expenses as well as fill in the financial void while she recovers. It is our pleasure to support this loving and thoughtful woman in her time of need. 100% of tax deduclitble proceeds will go to Camille.

On behalf of Camille and her family, we thank you in advance for all your kind wishes, prayers, and overwhelming generosity!

Ride to Give is a 501c3 (tax ID 46-2952297) non-profit charity that turns athletic ability into fundraising power for families with children who are disabled, injured, or ill. RTG was founded in Nyack NY, just outside of NYC, by stay-at-home mom Kaete Nazaroff and her husband, thirteen-time Ironman Dave Nazaroff.

In the summer of 2013 Dave completed the first annual "Ride to Give" from Nyack to Atlanta (over 900 solo miles by bicycle) in 5 days to raise awareness and donations for the family of Tripp Halstead, a toddler who suffered a traumatic brain injury in the fall of 2012.

Since March of 2013 Ride to Give has raised nearly $2,000,000 for 85 families in states throughout the U.S. We raise funds for medical equipment, travel expenses, and other out of pocket costs related to having a medically fragile child.

The RTGA is the Ride to Give Army, and we are 107,000 members strong. Our slogan is “Give a Little, Change a Lot,” and we are doing just that, using crowd funding to change the lives of children every day. To learn more please visit and
